Dawn has been a Nationally Certified massage therapist since graduating from the Utah College of Massage Therapy in December of 1997. She does a variety of massage and bodywork including deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy. Although her focus traditionally was in deeper work, Dawn realizes the need and the benefit of lighter touch therapy, which led her to take visceral manipulation, CranioSacral, and SomatoEmotional Release classes through the Upledger Institute. She completed the first two levels of Healing Touch training and the first level of Reiki. She also became a Repetitive Behavior Cellular Regression Practitioner in 2013. In 2015 she also became a PSYCH-K® Facilitator.
In addition, Dawn worked for over ten years as an instructor teaching massage and complementary healing courses at Minnesota State College, Southeast Technical in Red Wing. These included courses in flower essence therapy, homeopathy, massage, business, and acupressure. Dawn completed her bachelor’s degree in Business and Complementary Medicine from Metro State University in Minneapolis in 2009. Furthermore, she graduated from the Northwestern Academy of Classical Homeopathy in 2009 and does some clinical supervision there.
Dawn utilizes her wide variety of tools to help heal people of all ages who suffer from a variety of issues: from chronic pain and stress to anxiety, depression, and ADD. Finally, she travels throughout the United States speaking about complementary medicine and empowering people with options for their own health and healing.
Our clients say it best: “Dawn’s extensive knowledge and experience in massage and homeopathy makes her an excellent choice for those looking for an alternative to traditional western medicine. I have experienced positive lasting results, and I appreciate that Dawn cares about her clients and educates them whenever possible. –Renee Garrick, Owner of The Grammar Queenâ€
